The New Adventure of a Mom Entrepreneur Living in NY

My Story

I’m a first-time mom and an entrepreneur, living in Westchester, New York. My life completely changed three years ago, when my daughter was born. In addition to all the excitement around my little girl, I decided to launch a new business (like motherhood isn't enough of a rollercoaster, ha!). Starting and growing a new business can be a struggle. However, I had a strong desire to do something new, something that reflected the major changes in my life, the new emotions, realities and milestones happening and waiting to happen.

About our mommy-entrepreneur blog and product reviews

It is my mission to encourage other mommies to pursue their career and parenting goals. When it comes to products I write about, I aim to help parents make the best purchase decisions and make their parenting life easier. The products I recommend are only those that I have personally experienced. I do receive an affiliate commission on some, but not all, of the products that I write about and recommend (that is if you decide to click through to the retailer site and make a purchase). All products I mention in my articles, including those I review and recommend, may from time to time be subject to price changes, recalls or revised use recommendations.

What to expect in this blog

In this blog, we will be talking about few of my current passions:

• Navigating in the world of "working while being a parent" - the things I try to do in order to be the best at this new reality of fun, sadness, joy, fear, pride, anger, amusement, worry, love, doubt, focus, exhaustion, guilt, and empowerment (and all other emotional rollercoasters we go through daily as working parents).
• My experiences with launching my own business that others might find helpful.
• Baby shopping - shopping for my daughter is so much more fun than shopping for anyone else! I would love to share my opinion on the purchases that have been most useful and entertaining to me and my daughter, as well as on those ones that have helped me go through that call or meeting without interruptions.

Why I'm currently embracing online shopping

Because of Covid-19, we are currently avoiding large group gatherings, face-to-face interactions, and long shopping trips in order to ensure health and safety of our families. People, including myself, are trying to make the most out of online shopping (and honestly, physical shopping is not as much fun anymore with all the stress and anxiety around the virus).

Since I became a mom online retailers have been the primary place I shop - although there are some things that I'd like to first touch and feel before I buy, I love the ability to compare many products in the matter of minutes and the fact I can buy things at my own convenience (online stores are always open).

So there we have it. I hope that my story and things I share here will help at least one parent or entrepreneur out there with her/his kids or business or at least inspire them to take a leap.
