Best Vacuum If You Own Ruggable Rugs

I am a clean freak and I have always aimed to maintain a spotless and orderly home, which is always ready for guests. I like everything to have a designated place, and any clutter or mess to be immediately dealt with. In college, I probably keep my room cleaner than 90% of college students. After college, my apartment was always spotless too.

Then I had a child and my clean tidy house idea went out of the window.

My child can wreck the entire place and take all toys out and dump them in the middle of the living room in under 30 minutes.

I struggle with keeping our home clean on daily basis and recently I have been having someone come over and clean bi-weekly (I have to maintain sanity somehow).

One annoying cleaning issue I was continuously having is my Ruggable rugs that were lifting up every time I vacuum. I have 3 of them and although I love my Dyson vacuum, when I use it over the rugs it lifts the entire thing up and it separates it from the pad underneath. Then I discovered the Eureka cordless rechargeable vacuums with adjustable suction power and those have been a lifesaver.

So, spending money on this Eureka vacuum cleaner has kept my sanity and gave me a really clean tidy rooms. I was able to find it for a while on Overstock/Bed Bath and Beyond site, but now they have phased that model out.

UPDATE: After two years of great performance I managed to break this vacuum cleaner while renovating my basement. I could not find the exact same mode. The new version (same brand) I just got can be found at this link. Works just as well and comes with a few upgrades! Enjoy.
